These are my pictures from the AONE 2002 Fall Event in Gothenburg, Sweden.
On September 21st, 2002, I drove from Copenhagen up to Gothenburg for the AONE Event. I was accompanied by Jens Peter Jensen ("Pede") and Thomas Thøger Graff (the guy behind the TigerTronics company). Among other notable feats, they are founders of the Danish Amiga user group called "FUP".
We missed a ferry and were delayed half an hour waiting for the next one, and took some wrong turns in Gothenburg, so we didn't arrive until almost an hour after the event had started, unfortunately. But there was still plenty of things to see and hear, and it was definitely worth the drive.
Even though we couldn't expect to see finished AmigaOne machines running a finished OS4, we did see many of the pieces that are in the process of being fitted together to make that puzzle complete. We also got the chance to talk to some of the people involved in the process and to feel their enthusiasm and confidence in the project. And perhaps that was the most valuable effect of it all.
By the way, I must apologize for the small pictures. I would have scanned them a bit larger, but I'm running out of space on my (free) web server. I might be able to convinve them to increase my quota; if so, expect some bigger scans later.
Enjoy! And thanks to the arrangers AmiGBG and GGS-Data), and greetings to everybody else we met there.
